Natasha Merklein, LCSW

Howdy!  My name is Natasha (she/her/hers).  As a Clinical Social Worker, I emphasize viewing people within broader structures and their own unique ecological system.  I strive to integrate a critical social work perspective and incorporate anti-racist therapeutic practices, recognizing how the social order impacts our lives and how we can influence it in return.  At an individual level, the strength of the therapeutic relationship provides opportunity for agency, growth, and change.

My areas of specialization include counseling with children and adolescents, trauma, play therapy, anxiety and stress management/tolerance, and LGBTQIA+ life experiences.  With over a decade in public schools, I have additional strengths in supporting school and peer engagement and navigating education-specific stressors.  Drawing on your strengths, values, and interests, we’ll work as a team to generate change.

• Individual: 0.23% gross annual income per session
