    What the Actual Eff?!

A Weekly Drop-In Process Group for When Life Feels Like Too Much

Feeling overwhelmed? Stressed? Wondering WTF is happening?

Life is a lot. Some days, it’s the inbox pile-up. Other days, it’s family drama, political chaos, or the never-ending pressure to keep it together. Whatever it is, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to hold it all in.

What the Actual Eff? is a weekly drop-in group where you can:

    ✔ Vent (without judgment)

    ✔ Process (without pressure)

✔ Walk away with real tools to help you handle whatever life is throwing at you

This is not just a venting session—it’s a space to reset, recalibrate, and actually feel better when you leave.

    How It Works

📆 When: Weekly, 60-minute online sessions

💻 Where: HIPAA-compliant Google Meet (link sent after registration)

    💲 Cost: $30 per session

👥 Capacity: Limited to 10 participants per group

    🎤 Facilitator: Max Casero, LCSW-S

No commitment. No pressure. Just support when you need it.

Each session is structured yet flexible—because let’s be real, life is unpredictable, and so are the things we need to process.

    💬 What to Expect:

    • A quick check-in to see what’s coming up for folks
    • Space to share (or just listen—no pressure)
    • Guidance from Max on nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and practical coping tools
    • A wrap-up with tangible takeaways—so you’re not just sitting in stress, you’re leaving with a plan

    Group Guidelines & Expectations

To keep this space safe, supportive, and effective, all participants agree to the following:

    Confidentiality & Privacy

🔒 What happens in the group stays in the group. Participants agree to:

    • Keep all discussions strictly confidential.
    • Not share anything about other group members outside the session.
    • Respect privacy—no recording, no screenshots, no prying.

    Respect & Non-Judgment

This is a space for support, not shame. Participants commit to:

    • Respectful communication (no hate speech, no name-calling).
    • Active listening (no interrupting, no side conversations).
    • No unsolicited advice—sometimes, people just need to be heard.
    • Empathy first—everyone’s experience is valid, even when different from yours.

🚨 Violent language, hate speech, or name-calling will result in immediate removal.

    Participation & Engagement

    • Be on time! If you’re more than 10 minutes late, you won’t be able to join. There are no refunds for late arrivals.
    • Share if you want, listen if you need. No pressure to talk.
    • Make space for everyone. If you tend to talk a lot, practice pausing. If you’re quieter, know your voice matters too.

    Handling Conflict

Disagreements happen, but we handle them with care. Max is here to mediate and keep the space safe and supportive. We focus on constructive, respectful dialogue—this isn’t a debate club.

    FAQs

Do I have to commit to attending every week?

Nope! This is a drop-in group. Come when you need it, skip when you don’t.

Can I just listen and not share?

Absolutely. There’s no pressure to talk—you can show up, listen, and take in what feels helpful.

    Is this therapy?

This group is therapeutic but not therapy. It’s a supportive space to process and learn tools, but it’s not a substitute for individual therapy. If you need more in-depth support, we can help you find the right resources.

    What if I’m running late?

If you’re more than 10 minutes late, you won’t be able to join. This keeps the flow smooth and respectful for everyone. No refunds for late arrivals.

What if I have a conflict with another participant?

Max will mediate as needed to ensure the space remains supportive and safe. Respect and constructive dialogue are key.
