  • Jordan Chaplik, LCSW

Welcome! My name is Jordan (she/hers) and I’m a queer, Jewish, cis-female therapist. I am so glad you are here. Through my years as a School-Based Social Worker, I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, teens and families from diverse backgrounds and identities. My therapeutic practice draws from many orientations and influences, including play therapy, trauma-informed therapy, expressive arts, harm reduction, social justice and humor.

I believe each person is the expert of their own life, and I use a collaborative, holistic and strengths-based approach to our work together. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, supportive, and affirming space in which you feel safe being vulnerable with me, and tailor my approach to your individual needs. My specific clinical focuses include youth/adolescent development, grief, trauma, self-worth, relationships, anxiety, depression and parenting support. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work at the University of Chicago, where my studies focused on violence prevention and clinical work with youth and families.
